TKE has 27 Professional Staff Members and Hundreds of Volunteer Staff Members across the U.S. and Canada who work with undergraduates to improve and grow their chapters.

Tau Kappa Epsilon publishes a quarterly magazine titled The Teke.

Tau Kappa Epsilon offers a team setting which allows an athlete to transfer his leadership skills from the athletic field into heir chapter, campus and community.

TKE focuses on balancing your in classroom learning with hands on, out of classroom experiences. Think of it this way your college classes provide the knowledge base for your future, while TKE enhances your experience level and gives you the opportunity to apply what you have learned.

Tau Kappa Epsilon s Educational Foundation provides more than 90 scholarships, totaling nearly $100,000.

Studies show that 76 percent of Congress, 71 percent of the men listed in "Who's Who in America," and 85 percent of the Fortune 500 executives belong to a fraternity.
40 of the 47 Supreme Court Justices since 1910 have been fraternity men.
TKE isn't just an undergraduate fraternity experience, but a lifelong brotherhood.

With more than 270 chapters across North America, there are many TKE chapters to visit when on the road traveling to games as a spectator.

TKE believes the essential elements of brotherhood are love, charity, and esteem...thus placing value on personal relationships, diversity, and generosity toward all.

In 2007‐08, TKE conducted more than 120,000 hours equaling more than $2.4 million in donated time, which averages to nearly 600 hours per chapter or 13 hours per member. TKE also raised nearly $500,000 for philanthropic causes, which averages to almost $2,500 per chapter and more than $50 per member.

When recruiting new members, TKE considers men "not for wealth, rank, or honor; but for personal worth and character."

Greek Life aims to bring together a community of committed leaders. And TKE believes leadership is impact and influence, not title or authority. So whether you are an officer, committee member, or just a member, you can mold, enhance, and demonstrate your leadership capabilities in TKE.

What is the official flower of Tau Kappa Epsilon?

    The red carnation

100 of the 158 cabinet members since 1900 have been fraternity men

Through TKE you have the opportunity to meet others on campus and in the community through involvement in organizations, events, mixers with sororities, intramurals, educational programs, and more...

Walgreen TKE Leadership Academy, Conclave (our biennial fraternity‐wide conference), and grants for programs such as the Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute (UIFI) and Futures Quest, as well as many more.

Summer profile on Frater Michael Rutgard

      Video

Rutgard in EthiopiaThis video summarizes many of my travels over the years, what is not shown is the reason I’ve traveled to the majority of these places.

I’ve spent time out of every summer since 2005 to join with a number of international volunteer organizations on trips to remote locations around the world where most people have no access to doctors or any type of medical care.

On these trips I work with a team that tests vision, distributes prescription glasses, diagnoses optical diseases and conditions, and provides treatment, typically surgical. Over the years I have had the fortunate opportunity to help and witness many people having their vision restored from complete and total blindness.

I just wanted to share my story with anyone who is interested and I would be happy to provide whatever information one would need to play a part in a truly life changing experience.
